10 Point Check List For Your CV

- Name and contact details boldly at the top.
- A personal summary of no more than 3 to 4 lines explaining 'who you are' professionally.
- Work experience listed chronologically with the most recent first.
- The more recent the position held, the more detail required.
- Be factual and concise.
- Highlight key achievements, not just responsibilities.
- Be honest, especially with academic credentials.
- Personal interests may be relevant, but do not overdo the list.
- Personal information is often superfluous (e.g. number of children).
- Make the accompanying letter create the links between your CV and the position or company being addressed.
